have you ever lost touch with really good friends and then have them suddenly pop back into your life? it’s such a great feeling!

way back in the day, i’m talking way back…like 10 years or so, i met a really cool chic when i worked for lifetouch. i’m still not sure how this girl got mixed up in that gig, but anyway, that’s not the story.

the story is:

i met dawn. we hit it off crazily. we introduced our husbands (drew and jeremy) to each other who also got along wonderfully and we became a really close foursome. but then life got in the way and took us all on different paths. about 3 years ago, we absolutely stopped communication for no reason really except that our schedules never meshed. they don’t have children, and ours of course required more attention than we had to spread around. you parents out there know how that is.

so, today…out of the blue i get an email from drew inviting us to dawn’s 31st birthday party. i couldn’t be more excited to re-connect and find out what’s been going on. i mean, the only thing i know that they’ve been up to is their podcast show, the dawn and drew show. (you should check it out if you have some time to spare, it’s raunchy and fun). and of course, we’ve just been up to making babies and beads…so we’ll have a lot to share with each other. i can’t wait!
